Context

After having won a tender made by the “Bourgogne Tourisme”, our challenge was to convince within 36 hours the public relations directors of the 30 top companies in France that Burgundy was a major place to welcome high quality events. The contrasting concept was to astonish Public Relations Directors who have already seen so much in their career that Burgundy is a fascinating region where events could take place.All the scenes were inspired by the Grande Vadrouille (literally “The Great Stroll”). This comedy is about two ordinary Frenchmen, during the WWII, helping the crew of a Royal Air Force bomber shot down over Paris to make their way through German occupied France to escape arrest.

Major scenes

Typical scenes of the film were re-inacted such as the welcome of the clients at the train station with artists and nuns.Citroën Traction Avant (literally “front wheel drive”) relive and drive the clients over to the Château de Couches where the entire place was metamorphosed and put into action with artists and major happenings.
Moreover a race by Jeep along with ULM flights was organised to help the trip back in history.
Along with a cooperage demonstration under the authority of a US soldier.
Meursault town hall was transformed to enable to project back in time with hunting dogs with hounds.
Privatisation of the Château de Châteauneuf en Auxois where four star Michelin Chefs, along with a soprano continued to relive a prestigious evening.
